The Hartington Cheese Shop is set in the heart of the village of Hartington, overlooking the duck pond – they offer wide range of cheeses, wines, beers and speciality goods.

The current owners bought the cheeseshop premises in October 2009 and are slowly introducing even more local Derbyshire and Peak District cheeses, beers brewed from local Derbyshire and Peak District breweries and English Wines.

Other product lines include homemade chutneys, relishes, cheese biscuits and they now offer very fashionable cheese Wedding Cakes.

The former creamery which stands behind the shop was opened by The Duke of Devonshire in the 1870’s but closed in 2009 – today the owners are now making Stilton Cheese again.
