Since its opening at the spectacular Grade I listed Albert Dock in 1988 – Tate Liverpool has become one of the most visited art galleries outside of London – its close proximity to the city centre by foot and the sheer volume of special exhibitions it hosts every year – make it a must-see stop on your visit to Liverpool.

Bringing together artworks from all over the world – Tate Liverpool prides itself on staging an ever-evolving programme of unique and incredible collections – past artists featured include Gustav Klimt, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol and Claude Monet.

Tate Liverpool’s gallery offers large displays of work from the National Collection – The Collection features the work of artists including L.S. Lowry, Cindy Sherman, Louise Bourgeois Mamelles and Glenn Ligon.
