Just above Sennen Cove and close to the hidden Nanjizal beach – the Apple Tree Cafe is off the beaten track making it all the more welcome for walkers along west Cornwall’s remote wild coast.

There are tables outside in the summer and a cosy sofa next to a log burner in the winter – excellent coffee and dishes based on local and seasonal produce, superb cakes and homemade bread.

Open every day except Christmas Day everyone is welcome no matter how wet, muddy or sandy your boots are – plus lots of local artists work on display.
